Parkville Gardens
Parkville Gardens is a superbly designed inner city master-planned community set within a 20 hectare site developed by the Village Park Consortium, a joint venture between Citta Property Group and Frasers Property Australia. Parkville Gardens is located just four kilometers from the Melbourne CBD in an idyllic park side setting. The first phase of Parkville Gardens involved the successful delivery of the 2006 Commonwealth Games Athlete Village. On completion the project will include over 1,600 dwellings consisting of:
- The Residential Precinct containing 176 detached dwellings
- The Heritage Precinct containing refurbished buildings, reconfigured to comprise 50 heritage dwellings, in a landscape setting including a number of significant trees
- The Apartment Precinct, including over 1,200 dwellings
- An integrated mix of Social, Affordable and Private Housing
- An Aged Care Facility and associated Independent Living Units
- The Park Club with an indoor swimming pool and gymnasium
- A Village Oval and various Landscaped Parks and Precincts
